Basics Cooking Class with Sanae & Eric

We had a macrobiotic basic class at the end of March that became second time.
I' ll show you one of examples which I'm sure will be good to know.
We made "Daily condiment" using carrot green tops and sesame seeds .
Carrots tops are one of the things that we usually throw away or don't know exactly
how to use, but this condiment adds a great touch to cooked whole grains!

Natural Products Expo West

Last Sunday, we went to the Natural Product Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center.

There were so many products to see.....
This is one of them that Eric stopped by to see, he seemed so interested in the beautiful wooden mill.

There were many books for sale about food. These are the ones I bought.
I think I'm going to be more careful about the foods we usually eat and I want to learn more about it through the books.

We had a macrobiotic basic class at the end of last month, February.

We also made whole wheat pasta salad with sauteed vegetables (red onions, yellow onions, snow peas leaves, lotus roots, carrots, seasoned with balsamic vinegar and salt).

Steamed rolled tofu with chestnuts cream sauce:
